Lighting Contest Rules

1. Contest open to both Commercial and Residential participation.
2. No utility credit for participation.
3. No registration required, however participants encouraged to light up from Dec 1 to Dec 31.
4. One Residential and One Commercial winner each week. (No repeat winners allowed - this allows for 8 winners)
5. Winners are determined by the public through online voting and paper ballot. Paper ballots available at:
    Aztec Public Library
    Aztec Senior-Community Center
    Aztec Utility Office
    Aztec Visitor Center
6. Commercial and Residential Winners each receive $250 utility credit (non-transferable) and an Aztec Sparkles Lighting Plaque.
7. Voting closes weekly on:
    Monday, Dec 10, 2018
    Monday, Dec 17, 2018
    Monday, Dec 24, 2018
    Monday, Dec 31, 2018
8. Winners announced each week by:
    Thursday, Dec 13, 2018
    Thursday, Dec 20, 2018
    Thursday, Dec 27, 2018
    Thursday, Jan 3, 2019
9. Winner recognition will be held at the first City Commission meeting on January 8, 2019 at 6:00 pm. Attendance recommended, plaques will be handed out.
