3. Tiger Lake

Managed by the City of Aztec, Tiger Lake covers 7 acres and serves as a water reservoir for the City of Aztec.

No overnight camping is permitted at the park, but day use of pavilions with picnic tables and BBQ grills are available. Restrooms are ADA compliant and a 1/2 mile walking trail around the lake is available.

No lake use fees required. Reservations can be made for special use of the pavilions (505) 334-7670.

Fishing is permitted year round with a valid New Mexico Game and Fishing license. The lake is stocked regularly with rainbow trout. Channel catfish is also present.
