Located east of Purgatory Resort off U.S. Hwy 550 in the San Juan National Forest, is the Hermosa Park (East) trail system. This trail follows an old road and single-track which takes one through mixed ponderosa pine and aspen forest. Terrain is variable with creek crossings and overlooks of Hermosa Creek and West Cross Creeks.
