Prior to fishing at these lakes, make sure that you have the appropriate licenses and are familiar with the governing agency's fishing regulations for that particular lake.

Located approx. 18 miles north of Durango, CO, off of US Highway 550, Haviland Lake managed by the San Juan National Forest.

Wakeless boating, camping, and fishing.

Facilities

The campground is hosted and managed by the San Juan National Forest has 43 campsites, with sites for RVs and tents; some near the lakeshore. Twenty six of the campsites are reservable and 17 of these campsites have electrical hookups. Vault toilets are present. Haviland Lake offers barrier-free accessible piers.
