Southwest Colorado Water Recreation

Prior to fishing at these lakes, make sure that you have the appropriate licenses and are familiar with the governing agency's fishing regulations for that particular lake.

Located within the Dan Noble State Wildlife Area, Miramonte Reservoir is managed by the Colorado Parks and Wildlife.

Activities

Boating, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, swimming, and wildlife viewing.

Facilities

Primitive camping is allowed in designated sites within the Miramonte Reservoir tract. The campsites are within sagebrush uplands and are unshaded. Two boat ramps are present on the east side of the lake along with vault toilets.

Fishing license is required from the Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
