    Two developed campgrounds: Ashurst Lake and Forked Pine with 25 campsites each with tables, fire rings, and cooking grills. Campground season is from early May through mid-October. Drinking water and toilets are available at these campgrounds only when they are open.

    Fishing license is required from the Arizona Game & Fish.

    Fishing

    Arizona Game and Fish Department stocks this lake periodically with rainbow trout. Anglers are asked to catch the monster northern pike at Ashurst Lake to help this popular trout lake thriving. No pike limit.

    Water Recreation

    Canoeing Kayaking Wind surfing
    Water recreation includes fishing and non-motorized boating. Boats are limited to rowboats, rafts, canoes, kayaks, and windsurfs. Boat motors are limited to 10 horsepower.
