La Plata Canyon Trails

Located between Durango and Mancos is La Plata Canyon Recreationa Area which lies within the San Juan National Forest. The La Plata Canyon Recreational Area has numerous trails for the serious hiker. At the conclusion of your challenging hike, enjoy a wonderful dinner at the Kennebec Cafe.
