Gomez Point Pueblito

The site is situated on a narrow promotory extending east from a mesa overlooking Gomez Canyon to the east and Carrizo Canyon to the north. The site consists of three non-contiguous rooms, one with two rooms and several segments of defensive walls around the perimeter of the promotory. Preservation of the rooms is extremely poor. A single petroglyph of a large circle is present at the base of the promotory.

Ceramic Assemblage: Currently only Dinetah Gray ceramics have been identified at the site (Powers and Johnson 1987).

Tree-ring Analysis: No tree-ring samples have been collected from the site.
